Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta from her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. In the early years of his life his father became obsessed by theatre. While in school at Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of Air Force. The couple got married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where they had separated from the US Air Force. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It was in operation for a period of about six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
