Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Julia Fiona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theatre from an early time. In 1952, while a student of Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he received his induction into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year 1957. The couple divorced in 1957. the military and Walter enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show themselves. They also created a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
