Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actress, singer-songwriter, and performer. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. She also has an older sister who is currently working as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started the classical piano at eight years old, was described as being a "geek" and aspired to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined after turning 10-years-old. This led to her first singing career and early music composition. She appeared as a performer at the college, in a variety of performances that were put on through The Madras Players or EVAM. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began the acting profession as an infant actor acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva in a Leo commercial for a coffee. She also acted in a TV serial that aired on Podhigai. The actress performed all over India. She played a brief role during the climax in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Vaisudev menon performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then wanted her to take on in the role of a female lead on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an extramarital affair. Andrea was approached after Simran Shobana and Tabu. The film was released at the start of 2010. She agreed in 2011 to perform a tiny supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie by Rajeev ravi that was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
